Some of the pads may need to be replaced. I am unsure when the most recent pad job has been done on it. This horn has original lacquer and has not been re lacquered. There is some tarnishing and some of the original lacquer is worn away. The leather key pads also seem to be replacements. It appears that the neck cork is a newer replacement. All the latches work fine and keeps the saxophone well-protected. You can see it has some definite wear and stitching is frayed on the corners and edges. I do not have keys for the case, so it cannot be locked. The case is also original in fair condition with Martin badge. Please see the accompanying photos for detail. It also has a few scuffs and small dings. It is in original condition, so it shows some signs of use and age in the oxidized areas. The instrument’s keys are all in good working condition, without any sticking or freezing when depressed. The sax itself is a heavy brass construction and has a nice vintage tone. It comes with the original case, neck, mouthpiece, and Selmer neck strap. This is a used Martin Committee Tenor Saxophone with engraving, circa 1946.
